New lessons and teaching materials available at JEA Press Rights site
The Journalism Education Association’s Scholastic Press Rights Commission has added new lesson plans and other teaching materials on its updated Web site. Students in Kent State University’s online journalism education master’s program developed the materials, from background information and exercises on court cases to photographer’s rights and knowing how to read legal citations. Other information available on the site includes JEA’s emphasis on practicing responsible journalism as an alternative to administrative review and censorship.
